Historic House in Cuenca
. Ref. SB0356

It was a meeting place for painters and intellectuals who traveled to Cuenca in the 60s, where thanks to the initiative of Fernando Zobel, the Museum of Spanish Abstract Art was founded, of the Juan March foundation (1966). Saura together with other painters founded the group El Paso, Madrid, 1957, and many of them traveled and worked in Cuenca and of course they met in that house. It was a nerve center and a cultural hotbed of what was happening in those years and the house was one of its meeting places.

It has possibilities to be turned into a Hotel (they are two houses joined together), a restaurant with a terrace, open-air concerts, a cultural center (large spaces for workshops), etc… Or a wonderful private home.

It has a lush garden of 268.6 m2 and an impressive courtyard inspired by Le Corbusier of around 170 m2.
